Geropharm provided Venezuela with a three-month stock of insulin

Geropharm, the Russian company, has recently delivered a substantial shipment of genetically engineered human insulin, specifically designed for short and medium duration, to Venezuela. The shipment comprised 1.1 million packages and this volume will effectively meet the insulin needs of the 2 million patients in South America for a period of up to three months. Furthermore, Venezuela has received a delivery of over 40 thousand reusable syringe pens for the self-administration of medication.

Venezuela has recently started receiving insulin supplies from Russia. Recently, the country has received a remarkable shipment of 7 million packages of Russian insulin. A long-term cooperation agreement between Geropharm and the Venezuelan government has recently been finalized, opening the doors for production to begin in 2024.
