The investment project for the construction of a new pharmaceutical enterprise has been approved by the Expert Council of the St. Petersburg Special Economic Zone for Polex-Pharm LLC. The administration of St. Petersburg’s press service reported that 2 billion rubles will be invested in the implementation of this project.
The company intends to create an enterprise with an area of 8500 sq. m for the development and production of generics and innovative drugs not previously produced in Russia, including those for the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract and metabolism, as well as direct-acting anticoagulants for local use, metabolic agents, antibacterial agents systemic action, inhibitors of proteolysis.
