Uzbekistan purchased a batch of the Russian flu drug “Grippol Plus” for free vaccination of risk groups. This was reported by the press service of the Committee for Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health.
“In August-September 2023, 2,100,000 doses of the Grippol Plus influenza vaccine were imported from the Russian Federation. 509.4 thousand school employees, 491.8 thousand medical workers and 948.4 thousand pupils of state preschool education organizations will be vaccinated with this drug centrally and free of charge,” the message says. According to the press service, centralized vaccination began in the Jizzakh region. 216 vaccination points were organized in medical institutions, as well as in schools and kindergartens on its territory, employing about 400 health workers.
