In 2023, the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Health successfully registered a total of 45 oncological drugs, with over half of these being manufactured through a complete production cycle. During the meeting, the heads of the Russian Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Trade informed President Vladimir Putin that an additional 100 antitumor drugs are currently undergoing clinical trials.
The development of new realms in healthcare, such as radiopharmaceuticals and cellular technologies, is flourishing in our country, as stated by Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko. He clarified that, in particular, the largest plant in Europe for the production of radiopharmaceuticals is currently being built, and at the same time, radiopharmaceutical pharmacies are opening in medical institutions.
