WHO special representative in Russia Melita Vujnovich is finishing up her assignment in Moscow, after which she will take on a new role in the organization in another country, she told TASS.
“I am moving to a new position – also as WHO representative in another country. There will be a new person here in January,” she said. “I will work for two more years and then retire, hopefully.”
Vujnovic was appointed WHO special representative to Russia in March 2017. She previously held the position for six years, heading the organization’s national office in Kazakhstan.
