A new construction project is currently taking place in Podolsk, near Moscow. The aim is to establish a state-of-the-art facility for the production of surgical suture material, which is crucial for surgical procedures. This ambitious endeavor, led by Integral Medical company, is set to receive a significant investment of at least 500 million rubles. This promising initiative has been endorsed by the esteemed Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
It is planned to complete construction and begin production of sterile threads and needles in the third quarter of 2024. According to the General Director of Integral Medical Artur Siliverstov, domestic raw materials will be used in production. The company hopes that the project will make it possible to replace those products that have disappeared from the Russian market due to the departure of foreign companies.
