During the period from January to February 2024, the production volume of finished drugs in the Russian Federation reached an impressive 124.5 billion rubles, which marks a remarkable growth of 22.8% compared to the same period in 2023. In the first two months, pharmaceutical companies localized in Russia released 649 million packages of medicines onto the market (+6.4%). This was reported by the analytical company RNC Pharma.
It is noteworthy that the first two months of 2024 have shown a significant increase in activity among pharmaceutical manufacturers. In February, the total production volume exceeded 69.2 billion rubles, reflecting a 33% increase, while the actual volume of manufactured products reached 351.5 million packages, marking a 4.6% rise.
