Russia is currently considering a proposal from the Ministry of Industry and Trade to extend the range of medical devices that require labeling. If this initiative receives support, the project will commence on September 1, 2024, and conclude on August 31, 2025.
The inventory will be expanded to include neonatal incubators, therapeutic respiratory devices, syringes, infusion systems, condoms, medical masks, implants for plastic surgery and cosmetic treatments such as fillers and cosmetic threads, as well as test tubes and wipes.
