Russian Health Minister Murashko reported a rise in rehabilitation assistance to 1.5 million in 2023, up by 400 thousand from 2022. New national projects are being formed. The project shows successes over three years, focusing on people’s help and providing equipment and medical insurance funds for rehabilitation services.
“Given that we have been implementing the project for three years now, this indicates certain successes. In 2022 it was approximately 1.1 million people who underwent rehabilitation, including on an outpatient basis, in 2023 it was almost 1.5 million people who received assistance as part of the project” he said at the plenary session of the national forum of the rehabilitation industry and universal design.
