Dr. Vladimir Mikhailovich Kolyshkin, Vice President for Biotechnology Production and Director of the Yaroslavl Plant “R-Pharm,” has been appointed as a professor at Yaroslavl State Medical University (YSMU) following a competitive selection process by the university’s academic council.
“R-Pharm” and YSMU have been collaborating since 2009, focusing on training highly qualified professionals for Russia’s pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Kolyshkin has played a pivotal role in this collaboration by organizing the department’s activities, participating in scientific events, developing educational materials, giving lectures, and conducting practical sessions. He currently heads the Department of Biotechnology and Industrial Pharmacy, is a member of YSMU’s academic council and the council of the Institute of Pharmacy, and will join the state examination commission in 2024.
“Dr. Kolyshkin’s extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and his involvement in organizing practical training significantly enhance the quality of our educational process. His contributions help our students make informed decisions about their future careers,” said Dr. Larisa Ivanovna Lavrentyeva, Director of the YSMU Institute of Pharmacy.
