The Federal Medical Biological Agency (FMBA) has inaugurated a Center for Cognitive and Psychoemotional Health at the Federal Center for Brain Research and Neurotechnologies in Moscow on February 17th. This facility is designed to serve as a model for future centers across Russia, according Veronika Skvortsova, head of the Agency. The center aims to provide accurate diagnosis and personalized care through a variety of advanced diagnostic methods, including genetic testing and neurophysiological assessments.

In addition to treating patients with cognitive and psychoemotional disorders, the center will also focus on preventive measures for the healthy population. It features a team of neurologists, psychologists, psychotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and psychiatrists. FMBA plans to open 10 similar centers in all federal districts of Russia by 2024, leveraging telemedicine technologies and tailored educational programs.
