Binnopharm Group, a prominent Russian pharmaceutical company, has become a participant in the business mission of the Russian Export Center (REC) in Indonesia under the national brand “Made in Russia” and the Russia-Indonesia Business Forum, organized with the support of the Roscongress Foundation. The Business Forum was schedule to coincide with the 13th meeting of the Russian-Indonesian Joint Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation.
The forum featured statements from Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Vadim Varaksin, Head of the REC representative office in Indonesia, representatives of Indonesian ministries, and Rustem Muratov, general director of Binnopharm Group.
Indonesia, a key economy in Southeast Asia with robust growth rates along with India and Vietnam, is becoming an increasingly important strategic partner for Russian companies. The participants discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral relations, including cooperation in the pharma industry and the export of Russian medicines.
“Participating in the Business Mission reaffirmed Binnopharm Group’s strategic direction to expand its presence in South East Asia. At the forum we showcased the company and had negotiations with a number of potential partners, distributors and manufacturers from Indonesia, the Philippines and other countries in the region. Work on the registration of Binnopharm Group drugs in Indonesia has already begun, and the first results are expected this year. We are sure that this will provide the basis for long-term cooperation and scaling of our business in Southeast Asia,” said Rustem Muratov, general director of Binnopharm Group.
