Moscow-based Vetbiochim company increased production of animal vaccines by 43% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year, selling 12.5 million doses of vaccines for farm animals, as well as 2.5 million doses for pets. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

He stated that, based on the industrial infrastructure of the Pechatniki site of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, the company designed and built a new production facility that complies with GMP standards. The GMP certificate awarded by a Turkish authority will enable the company to increase its export potential.

“The company launched the production of vaccines for animals in Pechatniki in 2023. The project, which received investments of about 2 billion rubles, has created more than 100 jobs,” added Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government and head of the Moscow Department for Investment and Industrial Policy.

The Vetbiokhim plant was built in 2022 in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. A year later, Moscow authorities announced that it was operating at full capacity. It was noted at the time that it would manufacture about 5.5 million vials of live vaccines, 10 million units of liquid immunobiological drugs, and more than 1.5 million chemical and pharmaceutical products annually.

Currently, the company’s product range includes over 40 immunobiological drugs, as well as more than 50 diagnostic kits and test systems for veterinary use.
