Russians buy more dietary supplements for male fertility

In the first half of 2025, sales of dietary supplements aimed at increasing male fertility in the Russian retail market exceeded 957.6 million rubles, representing a 16.7% increase compared to the same period in the previous year, according to the report of the analytical company RNC Pharma.

The majority of sales for these dietary supplements remain offline (83.2%), but online sales demonstrate the strongest growth, at 49% compared to 11.8% offline growth.
Analysts note that there is an annual increase in interest in dietary supplements for male fertility during the spring and autumn periods. Russians spent over 167.5 million rubles on dietary supplements in October last year, and by March this year, the market had reached the same level. This category of dietary supplements is also characterized by a wide price range, from 300 to 12,000 rubles per package. Throughout the year, the cost of a standard package increased by an average of 7%.

In January-June 2025, the most popular dietary supplement in the category was Men’s Formula Spermactin from Pharmamed, accounting for 28.1% of total retail sales in rubles, representing a 16% year-over-year increase. Aquion’s Sperotone ranks second in the market with a 26.8% share, reflecting a 17% increase, while Pharmtransfer’s Bestfertil line holds third place with a 12.3% share, up 14%. The other ten top supplements included Androdoz (Nizhpharm, 7%, +27%), Androcomplex (Optisalt, 6.5%, +0.5%), Testogenon (RIA Panda, 3.9%, +19%), Testoril (Optisalt, 2.7%, +73%), Prostalamin Classic (Geropharm, +40%), Spermaplant (Evalar, 2.2%, +18%), and Spermafert (Nerei, 1.3%, +14%).

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has implemented stricter regulations for labeling dietary supplements and antiseptics.
