A Certified Reference Material (CRM) for the composition of zoledronic acid monohydrate has been added to the register.
The CRM, produced by the Russian National Center of Reference Samples (NCRS), has passed metrological expertise and was approved by an order of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart).
As GxP News was informed by the company, this is the first CRM in 2025 developed using NCRS’s own funds, rather than within a federal program.
Thus, the register now includes 250 different types of CRMs produced by the National Center for Standard Reference Products.
Reference materials are used for quality control of investigated medicinal drugs and ensure pharmaceutical safety within the country.
