Pharmstandard will supply Spinraza for the Circle of Good Fund

The company “Pharmstandart” Viktor Kharitonin received 11 state contracts for 2.6 billion rubles. for the supply of the drug for spinal muscular atrophy “Spinraz,” reports Znak.com. We are talking about purchases for the Circle of Good fund, the online publication notes.

According to the contracts, by May 1, 2670 doses of the drug should be delivered to the regions. 1000 doses will be sent to Moscow. Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories will receive 300 and 205 doses of the drug, respectively. Also, the medicine should come to Crimea, Khakassia, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga and Kostroma regions, Trans-Baikal Territory, Buryatia and other regions.

The first state contract for the supply of Spinraza for the Circle of Good in the amount of 128.8 million rubles was concluded with the company “Biotek” Boris Spiegel at the end of February. But last weekend it became known about the detention of Spiegel in a criminal case of corruption in the Penza region. According to investigators, Spiegel, through intermediaries, handed over bribes to Governor Ivan Belozertsev in 2020 for a total of 31 million rubles so that Biotek would receive preferences for public procurement.

In January 2021, Biotek ceased to be the supplier of the most expensive lot of the state program of high-cost nosologies – Eculizumab – a drug for the treatment of blood diseases. Pharmstandard also became a supplier of medicine in the amount of 4.5 billion rubles.

At the moment, information is posted on the public procurement website about another 19 auctions for the supply of Spinraza for the Circle of Good. Their results have not yet been summed up, applications are being submitted from potential suppliers.
