A new drug production will launch in Kaliningrad

Kaliningrad Region Development Corporation and Otisifarm Pro JSC signed a lease agreement on April 16 on the territory of the Khrabrovo industrial park. The implementation of the project will ensure the uninterrupted production of a wide range of ready-made medicines to meet the needs of the population of the region. It is also planned to reduce Russia’s dependence on pharma imports, according to the Kaliningrad Region Development Corporation. The volume of investments in the new enterprise will be 3.5 billion rubles excluding VAT.

The products that are going to be produced at the new site are antiviral agents, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory drugs, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, combined analgesic, antifungal and anxiolytic agents. The project will also create 300 new jobs in the region.

Khrabrovo is the only industrial park in the Kaliningrad region, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the international airport on an area of ​ ​ more than 345 hectares. The park’s engineering infrastructure is provided with an electric capacity of 39 MW, gas, drainage and water supply systems designed for 2000 m ³ per day.
