The Government of the Russian Federation has issued a list of permission-based regimes under which the effective term is to be extended in connection with military mobilization of the permit holder, the conclusion of a contract for military service with them or voluntary participation in a special military operation. The list includes accreditation of physicians and pharmacists, as well as certification and competency testing for obtaining a qualification category. The validity period of permits for specialists will be extended for the duration of their military service plus six months after its completion, Vademecum reports.
“If the validity period of documents on previously completed accreditation or certification ends in the first six months of the year after the end of military service, such documents will also be extended automatically for six months. During this period specialists will not have to undergo competency and skills testing and other procedures,” the publication writes.
The pharmaceutical industry enterprises affected by the mobilization have been offered a postponement of their obligations on subsidized projects.
The Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers of the Eurasian Economic Union, APF National Association of Manufacturers of Pharmaceutical Products and Medical Devices, and the Union of Professional Pharmaceutical Organizations had previously asked for a deferral from mobilization for pharma specialists.
