New Russian regions receive more than 630 tons of medicines

The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation delivered more than 630 tons of humanitarian aid to the Donetsk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions, including medicines for the treatment of oncological diseases and vaccines against covid. This was announced by Aleksey Kuznetsov, the assistant to the head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

“More than 630 tons of humanitarian aid from the Ministry of Health of Russia has been delivered to medical institutions of the DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions. The medicines supplied include therapies for the treatment of surgical, oncological, and endocrinological diseases,” TASS quotes Kuznetsov as saying.

Also, according to Kuznetsov,  the new Russian regions were provided with highly effective domestic vaccines against of influenza and coronavirus, including Sputnik M for adolescents, as well as vaccines against diphtheria and tetanus.

Humanitarian cargo will be distributed among regional medical institutions in accordance with the need for each type of medicines.

Pharmacies of the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson Regions have to undergo licencing procedures.

As it became known earlier, 920 specialists with medical and pharmaceutical qualifications from the LPR, the DPR and Ukraine expressed their desire to work in the Russian Federation. Most of them plan to engage in professional activities in Moscow and the Moscow region, the Rostov Region, the Republic of Crimea, as well as in the Krasnodar Territory.
