Over three days after the announcement of the termination of Viagra supplies to Russia, the demand for the drug increased by 50%, the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies (TsRPT), which acts as the operator of the Chestny Znak (Honest Mark) digital labeling system, reported.

“From February 15 to February 17, 2023, that is, three days after the announcement of the suspension of shipments of Viagra to Russia, sales of the drug increased 50% compared to February 12-14. Sales of the entire group of similar sildenafil-based drugs increased by only 5% during this period,” RIA Novosti quotes the TsRPT message.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade reported that the American Viatris said it was discontinuing the supply of deliveries of the erectile dysfunction pill on February 15, 2023.
