A branch of Roszdravnadzor laboratory for medical equipment testing is going to open in Yekaterinburg. Commissioning is to take place within a month, the head of the department Alla Samoilova said at Ural Health Care 2023 – International Specialized Exhibition-Forum.
“The laboratory will test medical equipment before its registration and conduct qualitative study of any samples taken for control,” she said. Samoilova also announced the opening of a drug research laboratory in Yekaterinburg.
In 2021, the country’s largest laboratory complex designed for quality control of medicines opened in Yaroslavl. According to Mikhail Murashko, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, the center has highly sensitive equipment that “allows you to control the quality of virtually any drug.”
