Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has given instructions to the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance to allocate funds for the upcoming federal project called “Digital Health Services”. The project, set to commence in 2025, strives to revolutionize the healthcare industry by incorporating cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.
The Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Economic Development have been directed to form an essential system for managing AI implementation in the healthcare sector by February 15, 2024, as part of the nationwide initiative “Healthcare.”
In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Economic Development need to ensure the activities of the Federal Center for Applied Development of AI by March 30, 2024 in order to increase the availability of digital infrastructure. It all will take place within the framework of the state program “Development of Industry and Increasing its Competitiveness” and is expected to help increase the level of implementation of AI in industrial sectors.
