The XXVII Russian Oncology Congress took place on November 14-16 in Moscow. The organizer of the largest national oncology event in Russia was the Russian Society of Clinical Oncology (RUSSCO) together with the National Medical Research Center of Oncology named after. N. N. Blokhin and the Association of Oncologists of Russia.
Two symposiums were held with the support of Sotex. Symposium “The journey of a cancer patient with pain syndrome. Decision Points” was dedicated to the problem of pain in cancer patients and the experience of using the drug “Tafalgin” from the Sotex company.
The second symposium focused on the treatment of anemia of malignancy—current advances and unresolved issues. Professor Rukavitsyn, together with the symposium participants, discussed the relevance of anemia of malignant neoplasms in oncological practice, the reasons for its occurrence, features of pathogenesis and diagnosis.
